
Microsoft Edge for Android already supports syncing to Edge legacy and new Edge, and syncs favorites, form fill, collections, and passwords from other devices where Edge installed and Sync turned on. Recently, Microsoft added Open tabs and History syncing support to Edge Android App 45.11.24.5118 in Beta.
Microsoft Edge for Android-based on outdated Chromium 77 is going nowhere in terms of security and new features.
So far, Edge has received the following features on Android and it now supports, syncing browsing history and tabs across all the devices
- Tracking Prevention,
- Contextual Search
- customizable New Tab Page, revamped menu
- Edge://flags page to try out new features.
- Collections
Enable History and Open Tabs sync in Edge on Android
- Launch Edge browser
- Tap on the three-dot icon and select Settings
- Tap on email address > Sync
- Ensure Sync is turned on, select “Open tabs” and “History ”
Go back and tap on the tab counter to notice the “Recent Tabs” tab from other devices show up in addition to Tabs and InPrivate Tabs.
And the “History” page also reflects the change when you select and open it by tapping on the three-dot icon.
