You can now use Firefox to Autofill other Apps on Android

 Firefox on Android autofill website usernames and passwords, credit Card data and addresses, how about using Firefox itself as an Autofill App for other Apps if you’ve already installed and using popular Autofill Services such as Bitwarden, Microsoft Authenticator, and others on your Smartphone? Have a thought about it? This is real!, the feature has been implemented by Mozilla in Firefox 92 Nightly.

New Firefox for Android codenamed Fenix is available for some time now.

Excitement on Firefox was gone after it got limited extensions to support, Grid View Tabs, External Download Manager Support, Safari’s auto-close tabs after a certain time period feature. Mozilla browser blocks redirect trackers also as its desktop counterpart does.

Firefox for Android team is doing their best to develop new features and improve existing ones, we’ve now another useful feature available that may delight you.

How to Use Firefox on Android to autofill All other Apps

Ensure you’re using the Latest firefox Nightly 92.

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Tap on the three-dot icon and select Settings
  3. Select Logins and passwords
  4. Tap on Autofill in other apps
  5. Select Firefox

  6. Now open an app and try to log in, username and password will be auto-filled by Firefox.
