On a 32-bit PC the browser keeps working and shows an x86 Support is Ending message, but it gets no further updates. Move to 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 to keep receiving them.
How to make DuckDuckGo the default browser on Windows 11
Windows 11 sets the default browser per link type, and the Settings page below changes them all at once.
