Mozilla has released Firefox 110 with GPU sandboxing enabled, which created a conflict with XMBC, preventing scrolling in Firefox.
Despite knowing about this issue, Mozilla chose to prioritize shipping GPU sandboxing on Windows.
XMBC users running the latest Firefox version noticed that scrolling had stopped on web pages when using the mouse wheel.
, but Chrome and other web browsers were unaffected.
There were workarounds available, including disabling an option in XMBC settings. or disabling GPU sandboxing in Firefox
However, disabling GPU sandboxing is not recommended it may as it could weaken Firefox’s security

Fortunately, X Mouse Button Control has developed a new version 2.20, which resolves the scrolling issue in Firefox 110.
The version’s changelog in the release notes confirms this.
” Fixed remap actions “scroll up/down/left/ right” and advanced scrolling do not work in Firefox 110″.
How to Update X-Mouse Button Control,
If you’re already running X-Mouse, just install the latest version over it.
At the time of writing, XMBC’s latest version is 2.20.1, not 2.20. So, download the same from Website.
