
Google is upgrading Password Manager in Chrome as Google Password Manager from version 114 on-wards. Here is how you can install Google Password Manager, Progressive Web App (PWA) in Chrome browser on Windows.

- Improved checkflow.

- You can create shortcut to Password Manager on desktop.
Google Password Manager became a PWA
Google has made Password Manager in Chrome as PWA. This is not easy as it is an WebUI. WebUIs are blocked from becoming Web Apps.
Chrome team has created “chrome://password-manage”r page and made sure to be installable as WebApp/ Shortcut.
How to install Google Password Manager PWA in Chrome
- Launch Chrome
- click on 3-dot menu
- Select “Google Password Manager”
- Select Settings
- Under Settings, find and click on”Add shortcut”
- Click install button in the PWA dialog that appears in address bar
Google Password Manager opens in its new window and also shortcut is available on desktop. Whenever you want to manage Chrome passwords, use the shortcut to quickly open the Password Manager.
