Google Password Manager in Chrome
We’ve recently reported Google is working on a new Password Manager for Chrome on desktop.
The company is rebranding Chrome’s Password Manager as “Google Password Manager” in version 114.
Google has rebuilt new Password Manager with three sections:
- Passwords
- Checkup
- Settings

The Password Manager can be launched via the option in the three-dot menu as well as you can create a shortcut on the desktop for the same.
How to create a desktop shortcut to Google Password Manager in Chrome
- Click on the three-dot menu
- Select Password Manager
- Once the Password Manager opens, select Settings and click Add shortcut
- When you’re askedĀ to install PWA for Password Manager, click Install
- Now Chrome Password Manager, opens in its own window and a shortcut is available on the desktop to launch whenever you want.
