
After implementing the new Chirp Font and design updates on the Web, Android, and iOS, Twitter has updated its PWA in Microsoft Store with the new font and visual changes. In addition to this, PWA supports third-party sign-on, subscribing to Revue Newsletters, and video captions upload.
Twitter PWA for Windows 10 gets design updates
Do you like it or not, Twitter’s new visual changes are here to stay, they can only be improved.
The company in announcement claimed the design changes make Twitter” More accessible, unique and focused on you and what you’re talking about”.
Twitter’s new look means not only the font change, but also buttons such as follow, and others appear with high contrast, they’re no longer blue but appear black.
After getting criticism, where, users reported the new look and chirp font was hard on the eyes, Twitter said it will make contrasting changes on all buttons to fix design issues.
What’s new in the Twitter PWA Update, August 31, 2021
- With design refresh, Twitter received a new look and feel
- The update makes it easier to discover and subscribe to Revue newsletters through the profile screen.
- The Store app now allows using Apple ID to sign up and sign in to a Twitter account
- Allows adding captions while uploading video via SRT on Twitter.com. The company says to “look for “upload caption file (.srt)” in composer after uploading the attachment
And we don’t need to tell, like Reddit, this is also just an Edge PWA.
