
Recently we reported Reddit Site available as Progressive Web App. Guess what, Reddit has uploaded the first-ever App for Windows to Microsoft Store. Yes, this is just a PWA. Reddit site is available in the custom standalone window of Edge browser.

Since it was a web app, you can already install it when you visit it in the address bar for Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers.
If you found Reddit PWA discovery difficult, now, you don’t need searching, it’s on Microsoft Store as well, go ahead and install it.

Reddit was not smart enough to build a Progressive Web App till now, at least it has now acknowledged that made a web app and published it to Microsoft Store for Windows users to download.

The app requires you to be running Microsoft Edge latest version
OS: Windows 10 verison 19003 or later

Microsoft Store is becoming a one-stop-shop for PWAs. Reddit has now joined that list.
Windows 11 has a new Microsoft Store app, which recently received Microsoft Edge, VLC win32, and other apps.

why would I prefer to use new, terrible reddit layout in detached Edge instead of using good, old Reddit in tabs of my main browser though?
