Download SiriusXM for PC, Windows 11/10 & Mac (Free Trial)

You can get SiriusXM on a Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC in about a minute. Open the SiriusXM web player at siriusxm.com/player in Microsoft Edge or Chrome, sign in, then install it as a desktop app with its own window and taskbar icon.

A Mac works the same way in Safari, Chrome or Edge. On iPhone, iPad and Android, the free SiriusXM app comes from the App Store and Google Play.

Below are the official links, the Windows and Mac setup, the phone apps, what each plan costs after the trial, and fixes for the problems people hit most.

How to install SiriusXM as a desktop app on Windows 11 and 10

Edge and Chrome both turn the web player into a windowed app. It then opens without tabs or an address bar, straight from the Start menu.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to siriusxm.com/player.
  2. Select I already have SiriusXM to sign in, or select Get App Only to start a new subscription.
  3. Select Settings and more, the three dots at the top right, then Apps, then Install this site as an app.
  4. Name it SiriusXM and select Install.
  5. Tick Pin to taskbar and Pin to Start when Edge offers them, then select Allow.
  6. In Chrome instead, open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save and share, then Install page as app.
  7. Launch the new icon from the Start menu and pick a channel to play.

Your Favorites and most settings sync between the web player and the phone app. A show you pause on one resumes on the other.

Which SiriusXM download do you need for your Mac?

There is no Mac app. The App Store listing covers iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and lists no Mac build.

On macOS Sonoma or later, Safari can add the player to the Dock with File, then Add to Dock.

Install SiriusXM on iPhone, iPad and Android

The phone and tablet apps are the only real installs, and both are free to put on the device.

  1. On an iPhone or iPad, open App Store and search for SiriusXM.
  2. Check the listing names Sirius XM Radio, LLC as the seller, then select Get.
  3. On Android, open Google Play, open SiriusXM: Music, Sports & News from SiriusXM and select Install.
  4. Open the app and sign in with your SiriusXM username and password.
  5. Choose a plan inside the app if you do not have one yet.
  6. Tap a channel, show or podcast to start listening.

A plan bought inside the app bills through Apple or Google. Cancelling it then happens in that store’s subscription settings.

Is SiriusXM free?

The app and the web player cost nothing to open. Listening needs a subscription once the trial ends.

No. SiriusXM is a paid subscription with an introductory offer, and App Only costs $11.99 a month after it. The plans page lists App Only streaming at $1 for 3 months, then $11.99 a month, while the web player sign-up page currently shows App Only free for 3 months. All Music with the car radio is also $11.99 a month after the offer, and All Access with the car radio is $25.99. Every plan renews automatically at the then-current rate, needs a credit card, and must be cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the charge. A site selling a free or cracked SiriusXM installer is not selling the service.

Set a calendar reminder two days before the trial ends if you only want the free months.

Which SiriusXM plan should you get: App Only or Car + App?

The split is about where you listen, not how good it sounds.

Take App Only if you listen on a computer, phone or smart speaker; take a Car + App plan only if you want SiriusXM on a factory car radio. App Only includes all streaming content, streaming-only channels, podcasts and SiriusXM video on home and mobile devices, but not the in-car satellite radio. All Music adds the car radio with music channels. All Access with the car radio adds live NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NASCAR and PGA play-by-play, news and talk, and costs more than twice as much.

The phone app still plays in the car through CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth or an aux cable, so App Only covers most drivers.

Where you can listen to SiriusXM

The computer entry on the official device list is the web player, not an installed program.

Platform How you get it
Windows 11 and Windows 10 siriusxm.com/player in a browser
macOS siriusxm.com/player in a browser
iPhone and iPad App Store, iOS or iPadOS 18 or later
Android phones and tablets Google Play
Streaming players Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV
Smart TVs Samsung, LG and Sony
Smart speakers Amazon Alexa, Google Nest, Sonos and Bose
Game console PlayStation
Cars Satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Satellite radio in the car covers the 48 contiguous states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

How to check your SiriusXM version and update it

The web player is always current. Only the phone, tablet and TV apps carry a version you can fall behind on.

  1. On an iPhone or iPad, open App Store, tap your profile picture and scroll to the update list.
  2. Tap Update next to SiriusXM, or Update All.
  3. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Manage apps & device, then Updates available.
  4. To read the installed build on an iPhone, open Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage, and tap the app.
  5. On Windows or Mac, reload the web player with Ctrl + Shift + R or Command + Shift + R.
  6. Clear the browser cache if the page still shows an old layout after the reload.

App Store build 2609.3.0 shipped on 16 September 2026 and needs iOS 18.

Fix SiriusXM not working on Windows 11, 10 or Mac

Most computer problems come down to the account, the plan or a stale page.

The web player shows plan offers instead of your channels

You are signed out, so the player shows the sign-up page.

  1. Open siriusxm.com/player.
  2. Select I already have SiriusXM.
  3. Sign in with the same username and password you use in the phone app.
  4. Reload the page once the sign-in finishes.

A channel you expect is missing

The channel lineup varies by plan, and App Only differs from the Car + App plans.

  1. Sign in to your account and open the Subscriptions tab.
  2. Check which plan is active on the account.
  3. Compare it with the plan list at siriusxm.com/plans.
  4. Change plans if the channel sits in a different package.

The app will not install on an iPhone or iPad

The current build needs iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later.

  1. Open Settings, then General, then Software Update.
  2. Install the update the device offers.
  3. Return to the App Store listing and select Get again.
  4. On a device that cannot run iOS 18, use the web player in Safari instead.

You are still billed after deleting the app

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

  1. For a plan billed by SiriusXM, open the Subscriptions tab in the Online Account Center.
  2. Cancel there, use the chat option, or call 866-635-8641.
  3. For a plan bought in the App Store, open Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
  4. For a plan bought in Google Play, cancel under Payments & subscriptions in Google Play.

How to uninstall SiriusXM from Windows and Mac

Removing the desktop app leaves the subscription running. Cancelling is a separate step on the account.

  1. On Windows, open Settings with Windows + I, then Apps, then Installed apps.
  2. Find SiriusXM, select the three dots and choose Uninstall.
  3. In Microsoft Edge instead, open edge://apps , select the three dots on the tile and choose Uninstall.
  4. On a Mac, open chrome://apps in Chrome, right-click the tile and choose Remove from Chrome.
  5. On a phone or tablet, press and hold the icon and choose the delete option.
  6. To stop billing, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, as described in the SiriusXM cancellation guide.

A plan bought through Apple or Google has to be cancelled with that company instead.

Frequently asked questions

Is SiriusXM free to download?

Yes, the iPhone, iPad and Android apps install at no cost, and the web player needs no install. Listening needs a subscription after the introductory offer; App Only streaming then costs $11.99 a month.

Where is the official SiriusXM download for PC?

The official computer route is the SiriusXM web player at siriusxm.com/player. Open it in Edge or Chrome, sign in, and install it as a desktop app from the browser menu. Any SiriusXM setup file elsewhere is unofficial.

Does SiriusXM work on Windows 11 and Windows 10?

Yes, through the web player in Microsoft Edge or Chrome on both versions. Either browser can install it as a windowed app with its own taskbar icon and Start menu entry.

How big is the SiriusXM download?

Nothing needs downloading on a computer beyond a browser shortcut. The App Store build for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV is 278.6 MB, and Google Play sizes its build per device.

Is there a SiriusXM offline installer for Windows?

No. SiriusXM publishes no setup file for Windows, so there is no offline installer, no MSI and no Microsoft Store listing. The web player needs an internet connection to stream.

Is there a SiriusXM app for Mac?

No. The App Store listing covers iPhone, iPad and Apple TV with no Mac build. On a Mac, sign in to the web player at siriusxm.com/player in Safari, Chrome or Edge.

Does SiriusXM run on ARM64 and Apple silicon?

Yes. On a computer SiriusXM runs in the browser, so a Snapdragon Windows laptop and an M-series Mac play it exactly like an Intel machine does.

Is the SiriusXM app safe to install?

Yes, from the official stores. The App Store listing names Sirius XM Radio, LLC as the seller, and Google Play lists SiriusXM as the developer. Files offered by download portals do not come from the company.

What is the latest SiriusXM app version?

Version 2609.3.0, released on 16 September 2026 on the App Store. The web player has no version number, because the browser loads the current build each time you open it.

Why will SiriusXM not install on my PC?

SiriusXM has no Windows installer to run. Use the web player and install it as an app from the Edge or Chrome menu. If that menu item is missing, update the browser and reload the page.

How long is the SiriusXM free trial?

The current introductory offer runs 3 months. The web player sign-up shows App Only free for 3 months, and the plans page shows $1 for 3 months, then $11.99 a month. It renews automatically unless you cancel 24 hours before renewal.

Does deleting the SiriusXM app cancel my subscription?

No. Uninstalling the app leaves the plan active. Cancel in the Online Account Center or by calling 866-635-8641, or in Apple or Google subscription settings if you subscribed through the app.
