After installing any Adobe Product, noticed True Key installed on your computer without consent along with McAfee Scan Plus or other? Blame you for not checking the optional software, Adobe has offered when you tried to download one of their products such as Flash player or Adobe Reader or Adobe AIR (to avoid these, next time, use Unchecky or pay attention while you’re downloading or installing such applications). If you no longer need the program, this is how to uninstall True Key by Intel Security.
Uninstalling or removing True key by Intel Security
Close any or all browsers if already open
- Visit Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features,
- Select Intel Security True Key and click Uninstall/Change.
- Click ‘Remove’ button, if any browser or more open, you’ll see prompt to close them, do so.
- Wait for a few minutes for the True Key uninstall process to complete, restart your computer after that when you’re asked.

If you’ve not found True Key in the installed programs list,
Visit this path C:Program FilesIntel SecurityTrue Key and run the Uninstaller.
If either or both the above methods don’t help, then remove True Key by downloading and running McAfee consumer products removal tool (link).
