Firefox’s HTML about:addons in development received quite a good number of improvements recently, for instance, we’ve said about report button addition for extensions and themes and recently, Mozilla added “Release Notes” and “Permissions” tabs to the extension detail page.
At the moment, both about:addons and about:config built on top of HTML are still behind a preference and not shipping with Firefox 67 on May 21, today. Most users did not like new about:config page when Mozilla announced, hope that will not be the case with about:addons on the which currently the company is working on.
HTML about:addons sports card-style design for extensions and offers Disable, Remove, Report, options, and More Options for each extension. When you click on the extension card, details page opens and shows extensive information about the extension. To the latest, Firefox add-ons manager, now shows Permissions and Release notes tabs in details page.
If you use Ublock Origin, you can spot these changes in Firefox 68 Nightly if you have new about:addons enabled, which you can by changing pref extensions.
value to “true” in about:config.
