Twitter desktop site Shows Highlights in Notifications

The Twitter highlights feature, available on Android and iOS apps, now shows up in Notifications on the Web version of the social site. For the uninitiated, Highlights feature shows “most interesting content from Twitter, tailored just for you”. The feature neither announced nor available on Twitter.com for the public, appeared for my twitter handle in Notifications, maybe, I am part of their A/B testing.

According to the Twitter help page, highlights for a user can be created from a number of factors, for instance, from

  • Popular tweets from people you follow
  • Personalized topics, trends, and news.

Its more like a tweet digest, that shows tweets from accounts that matter to you presented in Notifications for quick view to see what you’ve missed.

Here is how you can see Highlights on Twitter desktop site

1. Click on Notifications

2. Click on Highlights from username and N others, which takes you to search results page showing the highlights timeline.
