Firefox 62 gets New Bookmark Dialog

The bookmark dialog which pops up and lets you save a page for future reference as a bookmark in Firefox has got new design, the bookmark pop up in latest Firefox 62 Nightly shows screenshot and favicon of the page you’re bookmarking. Here, Firefox is trying to resemble the bookmark pop up behavior of Opera and Vivaldi browsers.

When you click on the star icon in the address bar in Firefox browser, this is what happens: new bookmark dialog displays image preview of web page and offers Name, Folder and Tags fields for organization of bookmarks, Name field will be prefilled with website name and bookmark will be saved to other bookmarks folder.

Why to show preview image for a bookmark when saving?

Mozilla has plans to store a snapshot of page for the library of future bookmark manager (library). At the moment, there is nothing for you to excited about Firefox new bookmark dialog.
