Google Chrome’s New Tab Page by default shows 8 thumbnails for most visited sites, users on Chrome 44 has a strange experience where New Tab Page is only showing 6 thumbnails instead of 8. Don’t worry! Nothing wrong with your Chrome, it’s a bug! Will be fixed in Chrome 45.

There is also another bug that has been reported in v44 where last thumbnail column doesn’t appear when zoom level for NTP is set to 90%, ensure NTP is not zoomed for you and press ‘Ctrl+0’ to see it restores all thumbnails. This issue will also be resolved in the next version.
