The popular ‘Undo Send’ feature present in Gmail is now available in ProtonMail and coming to its Android and iOS apps as well. The feature has been most requested by ProtonMail users. You can able to set the email cancellation period to 0, 5, or 20 seconds.

- Useful to correct misspelled recipients and typos in messages after sending an email

The feature present in Gmail already familiar to many and needs no introduction.
After sending an email, the undo option appears to cancel an outgoing message.
You can use the option, get back to it, and make changes if necessary, and then you can resend it again.
When comes to Gmail,
the email service shows “Undo” along with the “View message” option. Google email service offers a cancellation period up to 30 seconds where ProtonMail pauses email from sending for a maximum of 20 seconds.
How to use Undo Send in ProtonMail
- After sending an email, the composer window disappears and a banner appears at the top informing Message sent with Undo option.
- If you click the Undo button within the timeframe you set in Settings,
- the “Sending undone” message appears on the top of the screen and the composer window opens automatically for you to edit the draft in Settings.

The Undo Send timer can be configured by following the steps given below
Settings > General > Messages >Undo send.
