While Edge Team releases a new Dev build every week and it also publishes a detailed blog post on what’s new, bugs fixed in the browser, do you know Microsoft initially developed “Microsoft Edge Insider” extension for Edge Insiders to know news, features, announcements and known issues in the insider channels? The extension is available for download on the Microsoft Edge insider addons site.
“Are you looking to stay up to date with the latest updates to your new Microsoft Edge browser? Do you want to know if there are currently bugs that are preventing certain features from working or fixes that re-enable that functionality? The Microsoft Edge insider Extension is the best place to get all of that information delivered to you on your terms ” Says Microsoft on the extension page.
The Extension aimed at Edge insider channels such as Beta, Dev, and Canary, when installed, downloads latest announcements, fixes, known issues and additional insider content in the background and shows them on toolbar icon in All, News, Try it, Known issue and Fixed Issues tabs. The extension displays the Chromium-based Edge version you’re running and includes a link to the Microsoft Edge Insider homepage at the bottom.
