KB4471332 for Windows 10 1809 build 17763.194 fixes Windows Media Player Bug

Patch Tuesday updates for the month of December 2018 have been released by Microsoft for Windows 10 versions 1809, 1803, 1809, 1703, 1607 and 1507 and available for download via Windows Update. Cumulative Update KB4471332 for Windows 10 October 2018 Update has come with security fixes and resolves Windows 10 Media Player bug.

Recently released KB4469342 update has caused Seek bar issue in Windows Media Player where users not able to use it when playing specific files, normal playback isn’t affected, Microsoft resolved the issue with KB4471332 Update.

Windows Media Player seekbar issue fixed

The latest CU also brings security updates to Windows Authentication, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Storage and File Systems. Microsoft Edge, Windows Kernel, Windows Wireless Networking, and Microsoft Scripting Engine.

KB4471332 doesn’t report any known issues with this update.
