Avast 18.8 released, is the last version for Windows XP

As we’ve covered Avast has ended support for Windows XP and Windows Vista, the company recently has changed their mind and decided to offer Avast 18.8 release with support for XP and Vista and is now available, this is last Avast version to support these older Windows Operating systems, if you’re on these, better update to Windows 10 to benefit from new features and security enhancements  both Avast and latest Windows OS provides.

The new Avast version fixes critical vulnerability and changelog confirms this is as the ‘last version for Windows XP/Vista’. The company hasn’t disclosed details about the critical vulnerability it fixed.
