Quantum Lights theme for Firefox changes colors based on time of day

Last updated on December 14, 2017 By Venkat

We’ve already covered Firefox Quantum theme released by the Firefox Communication Design lead, Sean Martel, hope you’ve liked it. The same developer has developed another beautiful theme – Quantum Lights – based on a new theming API that is available for Firefox Quantum v57 and is now is available for download on AMO.

Quantum Lights theme for Firefox

Quantum Lights is a dynamic theme that changes colors based on time of day. Yes! The Firefox Quantum Palette-inspired theme automatically changes at day time (at 8 AM) and night time (at 8 PM).

The theme available as an extension needs Firefox 57.0 and later to work, offers a different theming in Private browsing also. Colors can change from purple, light blue and orange.

You can download this theme from AMO here.
