After Snagit 13.0.1, another minor update for Snagit – Snagit 13.0.2 – has been released and available for Windows, with bug fixes and new tweaks to improve your workflow. This update offers an option in Snagit capture preferences to take precedence over other programs using the same hotkeys.
Getting a dialog before the start of Snagit on your computer that ‘Snagit capture hotkey is in use by another program’ or ‘Unable to register Snagit capture hotkey. Please select a different hotkey’? Commonly, with Dropbox and OneDrive, Snagit triggers these Hotkey Conflict dialogs when Print Screen shortcut was taken over and used by either.
TechSmith’s latest screen capture software comes with a setting, which, when enabled, forces Snagit to take the default hotkey back with this version.
