Till Snagit 13, Snagit Editor used to display entire image by default, this has been changed recently, the editor now zooms out to show whole image for larger captures. The annoying thing with this is you’ve to manually select ‘Actual size‘ for every capture from the View menu. This can be fixed easily and can be made automatic, here is how that can be done in the current Snagit 13.1 version.

Set Snagit Editor to show captured Images in Actual Size by default
1. Within the Snagit Editor, above the Recent Captures tray, click on ‘Zoom options‘ and uncheck ‘Shrink to Fit‘.
2. Done.
