Change Edge browser download location more easily in Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Till Windows 10 version 1607, it was possible to change Microsoft Edge browser’s default download location, you need to open File explorer and change location path of Downloads folder for that, though this was not at all difficult, when compared to other browsers, Edge has clearly lacked the option for Downloads in its settings, Microsoft has addressed this for Edge browser with the anniversary update,

  1. Open Edge browser, click on more actions, select Settings, click on view Advanced Settings
  2. Under Downloads, click Change and select the folder you want to save the files downloaded in Edge browser to.
