Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.2.1 Update Turns on Context Menu Scan Option

Malwarebytes Corporation has released a new update for their anti-malware product — Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.2.1 — and is available to download. This patched release turns on important context menu scan option by default in the General Settings of the program (they should’ve done that before, better late than never). So you can now right click on any file or folder or drive, and see and select,’Scan with Malwarebytes anti-malware’ option to initiate a scan.

This version also fixes some issues, including a security vulnerability, which now ensures database updates are downloaded over SSL connections only, and improves Malwarebyte’s self-protection module aka chameleon.
