Adding IDM integration module into Chrome is a big headache, most of the times, you need to manually install the extension by dragging and dropping from the IDM installation directory. Older builds of the app has a serious issue (not talking about that malicious and installation has been prevented error), which you should know if you’re using: Chrome disables the extension by saying’ Not from Chrome Web Store. This extension violates the Chrome Web Store Policy‘.
Fortunately, fixing the issue is very simple, either you need to upgrade to the latest version of the program or install IDM Chrome extension from the Web Store by visiting this link.

Hello, I have been facing problem for last 2 days (From 8 Feb 2019) with my IDM, I can’t download anything from the streaming video.
I have noticed that, ever since my Chrome updated to its latest version 72.0.3626.96) (Official Build) (32-bit) my IDM has stopped downloading and also not showing download panel on the streaming video screen.
At present I am using IDM 6.28 Build 5 March 29 2017 Full with an extension shown by this website IDM 6.32.3. My OS is Windows 7 32 Bit.
However, I tried to uninstall and install several times but failed. With that I also tried another way by dragging and dropping IDMGCExt.crx file to the extension window of Chrome but no help. Kindly give me some way out.
