Don’t hide desktop icons in insider build 10547. If you’re an insider using Windows 10 build 10547 and unchecked ‘Show desktop icons’ option in the desktop right click menu, you’re in trouble.
The Context menu doesn’t open again when you right click, this is a known issue in 10547 build, but the taskbar and Win +X menus open fine without any issues. This issue has been submitted by insiders through Windows Feedback.

Fix desktop Right click menu doesn’t open in Windows 10 build 10547
1. Press Shift+F10, this time context menu appears, from View > select ‘Show desktop icons’.
2. But the above solution hasn’t worked for us as we’ve to run portable ‘Autohidedesktopicons’ program to get back that menu again.
Windows Insider Program head Gabeaul already said no new preview builds will be available until October 6th event, let us hope this bug will be fixed in the next build which Microsoft releases after the event.
