Avast software has released Avast 2015 R2 and is available to download from their website. This release brings new design for chrome Avast Online Security Plugin, improves Windows 10 compatibility and integrates Browser Cleanup tool (BC) into the UI and Smart Scan. BC Tool now appears on the Overview/main page, Smart Scan has this tool included as well. Web Shield has been improved for faster browsing.

You can notice two instances of AvastUI.exe processes running, that’s new, here is what they’re for: first one is for the GUI and the second one is to display the web content inside the GUI.

- AccessAnywhere feature is removed and replaced with remote connection feature available through Account screen in all editions(not limited to Premier)
- Better license activation during setup
