If you don’t know, while installing Internet Download Manager what happens behinds the scenes is, the files required for IDM installation will be extracted from its setup file to a temporary directory on your computer and then the application will be installed. Multiple files with the name IDM.tmp will be unpacked to here: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\IDM_Setup_Temp, after the successful installation of IDM, these files will be automatically removed.
Fix ‘You have an obsolete Firefox browser integration or Firefox integration is not installed ..?’
If any antivirus or security program blocks even one file of IDM.tmp that are created during the unpacking, then you’ll get an error, for instance, I got one when blocked by Panda Cloud antivirus on my computer. Error is: IDM Setup: ‘Could not create process in unpacker Access is denied. Error ID:5’ and the installation halts.
Fixing Error IDM Setup: ‘Could not create process in unpacker Access is denied.. ‘
What you need to do then is to restore that file (that was falsely detected as virus – false positive- by the AV) from the Quarantine folder. It’s not that hard, for that, open Cloud Antivirus, click on ‘Antivirus’ section, and ‘View details’ under Quarantine, select and restore that file.

Try to install IDM again, this time it will be installed without any issues.
The situation could be different in your case, you need to ensure no antivirus or other security program is blocking IDM.tmp files from being extracted.

Solved, Just create C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\IDM_Setup_Temp
Folder. You’ll have to change the folder’s permissions in order to do it. That’s what caused the problems in the first place
