You can know date and time by looking at taskbar notification area and you can know current weather forecast by typing weather followed by city name in Google search box, if you don’t use Chrome’s New Tab Page to access most visited sites and recently closed pages or if you found Chrome NTP useless replace NTP with screen showing present weather and time by installing Currently Extension in Chrome.
Currently lets you access New Tab Page by clicking on grid icon displayed at the bottom of page. By default Currently shows temperature in Fahrenheit which you can change to Celsius in options. You can change background of page to either light or Blue from Dark color, blue background looks better. You can set the clock to 24-hour format from default 12-hour format. You can also toggle animations to on or off. Make sure hit on Save button for the changes to save to Chrome.
