Microsoft is now providing two new official wallpapers for download as a “Welcome gift” to those who sign up for the Windows Insider Program. The wallpapers are sent via email for download.
The Windows Insider program is a community of users who sign up to test and provide feedback on upcoming Windows operating system updates and features before they are officially released to the general public.
The program offers users the chance to access early preview builds of Windows, enabling them to provide valuable feedback and suggestions to Microsoft. By participating in the program, Windows Insiders have the opportunity to explore new features, report bugs, and actively collaborate with Microsoft’s development team.
This engagement plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Windows as it allows Microsoft to gather real-world feedback, identify potential issues, and implement necessary adjustments before releasing updates to the general public.
The Windows Insider Program consists of four channels: Canary, Developer, Beta, and Release Preview.
In 2021, the Windows Insider program celebrated its 7th anniversary, and as part of the occasion, Microsoft offered two new official wallpapers (in light and dark mode) to insiders.
The company is currently providing these two wallpapers for download to those who sign up for the Windows Insider program. Upon registering for the Insider Program, an email with a welcome gift, including the two wallpapers, is sent to the user as shown in the image.
You can set the wallpaper, either the light or dark theme, as your desktop background.
If you prefer to obtain the wallpapers without joining the Windows Insider Program or providing your email, you can download them from this link.
What’s your take on this? Did you like the wallpapers? Are you a Windows Insider? Have you received these wallpapers in the past? Let us know in the comments below. [Thanks to Enderman]
Final words: Microsoft is now giving two new wallpapers for insiders who signup for Windows Insider Program, you can download them here without the need to register by email.
