Back in December, we’ve reported Google has started working on a feature to share pages from Chrome on the desktop to mobile by generating a QR code, the company then added a flag to Chrome Canary, which when enabled, offers an option in right-click menu to share Page’s URL via QR code, the feature is now working in Canary as we spotted.

The QR code generated in UI from the Chrome address bar offers an option to download QR code for that page in the image format. The feature isn’t working consistently, expect Chrome’s QR Code sharing feature to function better in the days to come.

Neat, hope this eliminates the need to use an extension, some of which are unnecessary resource hogs at times and buggy.
Currently this feature does appear to be wonky and is just showing blank box for a lot of occasions.

    Thanks for sharing.
