Microsoft’s Feedback Hub App for Windows 10 receives a Major Update

Last updated on October 21, 2019 By Venkat

Microsoft has updated the Feedback Hub App for Windows 10 available on Microsoft Store to v 1.1907.2762.0 to let the user clearly spot the difference between problems and suggestions, adds a similar feedback feature and brings a dedicated page for achievements. These changes have been announced for Windows Insiders in August 2019, now being rolled out to the general public.

Feedback Hub version

When was the last time Feedback hub in Windows 10 running a public or non-insider build received an update? We hardly remember. Now in the last couple of days, the app has received a couple of updates, the first update hasn’t brought any noticeable improvements whereas the second one available today on Microsoft Store, is a significant update.

Key changes:

1. Problems and suggestions in the feedback now displayed with different icons with different colors.

2. Feedback Hub debuts a similar feedback feature with which ” selecting a problem with symptoms that match your own will take you to the feedback form with the title pre-filled. You edit the title or add your description to let us know exactly what was happening when you encountered the problem.”

3. Windows insider achievements page has been updated, it has now a dedicated page in the app ( previously used to exist in the profile). The page displays information on the feedback you’ve provided and upvotes it has received, the quests and milestones completed. Unless you’re an insider in the past or present, this page may not be useful to you.

4. App Settings now displays Device ID and User ID, previously Profile page used to provide this information).

You can visit Microsoft Store and check for updates or launch Feedback Hub app, and from Settings try to see if any update is available.
