Firefox to make tab pinning/unpinning a whole lot easier, Mozilla has added a ‘Pin Tab’ option to Page Actions menu (PAM) in the address bar. The company has made this change as part of Pin Tab CFR experiment, let us hope they’ll keep the option in the menu after the experiment is over and expect it to reach Firefox 67 release channel.
Till now to Pin a Tab in Firefox browser, you need right click on it and select the option and to unpin it you need to follow the same procedure and there are shortcuts available for Chrome and Firefox browsers to achieve this, but Mozilla has other plans.
Tip: Pin/unpin tabs quickly from the address bar in Firefox
The latest nightly version for Firefox has ‘Pin Tab’ option present in PAM. To get started, launch Firefox, click on page actions icon in the address bar and select the option in the drop down to pin that tab and FYI, Page actions menu will offer ‘Unpin tab’ option for the same tab.
Bonus: Right click on ‘Pin Tab’ Page Action menu item and select ‘Add to address bar’.
Use the option in the address bar from now on to pin and unpin tabs quickly, have you found this tip useful? Let us know your opinions in the comments below.
