Here you go! Vivaldi 2.0 based on Chromium 69 has been released on September 26, 2018, by Vivaldi technologies and is available for download. It comes with over 1500 improvements since Vivaldi 1.0, which was released on April 6, 2016. See the progress the browser has made so far, Vivaldi team has built the browser on top of Chromium engine and Oh boy! What’s new
1. First and foremost, Sync is now available, so that you can synchronize bookmarks, extensions, passwords and browser settings in Vivaldi across computers, find out how you can set up sync in Vivaldi here.
2. Vivaldi 2.0 adds Qwant search to pre-installed search engines list, you’ll find it at the bottom in the list. Here are the search engines Vivaldi now comes with this change: Bing, Yahoo, Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Wikipedia, Google, and newly added Qwant.
3. This version has added floating panels, with which the page doesn’t get resized when you open and close a web panel, instead, it gets overlayed/floated on the website. And with auto close inactive-panel setting, Panel will be closed autoamtically when you move mouse cursor away from panel.

4. List layout for Visual Tab Cycler: If you switch between tabs in Vivaldi with a shortcut, you can now view titles in the list instead of thumbnails, this will allow you to view more tab titles.

5. This version of Vivaldi allows to resize tiled tabs, tile separators have been provided, which you can move by using mouse or keyboard. The adjusted tile layout will be remembered by Vivaldi between the browser restarts.
