Mozilla is adding some nice features to Firefox Nightly, yesterday we’ve covered Firefox offers a new context menu item for extension icons on toolbar to remove extension, now another one, this has been build on top of multi-select tab feature. A new way to bookmark multiple sites: select the tabs which you want to bookmark by holding Ctrl/Shift key, then drag and drop them onto bookmarks bar or sidebar to bookmark. We’ve tested this on latest Nightly and the feature has worked for us.
Drag and drop a selection of tabs to bookmarks bar/sidebar to bookmark
Here is how you can try this
1. Ensure you’re using latest Firefox Nightly version and bookmarks bar is not hidden (it is by default)
Click on Library menu > Bookmarks > Bookmarking Tools > View Bookmarks Toolbar
2. Visit few sites in the browser. Hold Ctrl key and select the tabs which you want to bookmark, now leave Ctrl key, drag and drop them onto the Bookmarks bar.
