Chrome gets Firefox like ‘Switch to this tab’ button

If you’ve too many tabs open in browser, you may open the website which you’ve already opened in the same window, this causes a duplicate tab. To avoid this, Firefox browser offers ‘switch to tab’ button in URL bar dropdown. Google Chrome has now this feature available for testing behind a flag.

Enable ‘Switch to this tab’ button in Google Chrome Omnibox

1. Ensure you’re using latest Google Chrome canary or dev,

Visit chrome://flags/#omnibox-tab-switch-suggestions and select Enabled, restart the browser

Note: The flag doesn’t work if you’ve enabled upcoming Ui features flag or if #top-chrome-md is set to Refresh or Touchable Refresh.

The flag ‘enables suggestions for switching to open tabs within the Omnibox.’

This is an experimental feature, no guarantee this will make the stable version.
