How to Set up Flow in Opera Desktop browser

Opera has updated desktop browser and launched a new smartphone browser – Opera Touch- with Instant Search and Flow features. We’ve covered about Instant Search in Opera, by using Opera Touch’s Flow feature you can seamlessly connect your PC and Phone browsers. Till now to use Opera’s Synchronization features, you need to sign into account and follow certain steps, which is not required when you use Flow, which is a one-time setup, here is how you can do that.

1. Download and install Opera Touch from Google Play Store

2. Launch Opera web browser, click on Arrow icon in the sidebar.

3. Click on ‘Connect your Phone’ and Scan the QR Code with the Opera Touch. Note: You can also manually enter the connection code.

That’s it! Opera Flow has been activated and from now on, no logins or passwords required.

By clicking the arrow icon in the Address bar in Opera or by using context menu option, you can send videos, notes and links to My Flow, all this will be available on Opera Touch browser also. Similarly, you can send stuff from Opera Touch to Opera desktop browser as well.

Do note, My Flow needs to be enabled in Opera browser for the Flow to work. To check My Flow is enabled in Opera, follow these steps

  1. Click on Menu > Settings > Browser > My Flow > Enable My Flow
