Opera 48 now lets you Import Favorites from Edge browser

Recently Opera has added Export bookmarks feature in version 47 and now version 48 has brought Edge favorites import facility. Till now Opera browser has allowed users to import bookmarks and other data from Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox browser and through an HTML file, it has lacked the ability to import favorites from Microsoft Edge. Today, the latest Opera 48 in development has added that. Yes! You can now bring bookmarks/favorites from the Edge browser into Opera, here is how that can be done.

Import bookmarks from Edge to Opera

  1. Click on Opera Menu > More tools > Import bookmarks and settings
  2. Choose ‘Microsoft Edge’ and select ‘Favorites/bookmarks’ as items to import

3. Click ‘Import’.

4. Done.  Any favorites you’ve saved to Edge browser will be imported to Opera and available for access in ‘All bookmarks’ (opera menu > Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks (Ctrl+ Shift+b)) under ‘Imported from Edge’ folder.
