
Latest Vivaldi 1.8.770.9 snapshot introduces new History feature. Yes! Vivaldi team has re-written the history feature which was available for some time behind about:experiments as new history page for testing, they’ve now enabled it by default in the development build. This Vivaldi snapshot apart from introducing advanced history feature, fixes 40 bugs and updates the browser engine to Chromium 57.0.2987.
New History feature in Vivaldi 1.8
Tracking the sites which you’ve visited most is now easier than before. Thanks to history that provides more insights about your online behavior. Vivaldi browsing history provides graphical clues about your browsing patterns.
Regarding new browser history, Vivaldi Ruari says in a blog post ” A graph to visualize your browsing activity over the course of the selected time period, a breakdown of exactly how you navigate around the web and a list of top domains. That way you know whether you are spending too much time on Facebook, Twitter or vivaldi.net and can adjust any bad habits accordingly.”
Apart from traditional list view, the history allows to display data with daily, weekly and monthly overviews. Update: You can able to access History from the Start page or by visiting vivaldi://history page.
Vivaldi now offers an option in settings to disable or enable browser from auto updating.
