Mozilla has added a new popup menu to Show All Downloads sub menu in Downloads Panel. The drop down menu, which appears when you click the down arrow, offers two new features: Clear Preview Panel and Open Downloads Folder. Former allows user to clear all the completed downloads from the downloads panel, including failed and cancelled ones, but paused downloads will be kept.
Whereas the latter, as the name says lets you open the downloads folder. FYI,’Clear list’ item existed on the downloaded file context menu in the current stable version has been renamed to Clear Preview Panel as well. This just clears the items from download panel.

When there are no downloads in the panel, you’ll only see open downloads folder menu item, quite rightly so.
The target milestone for this feature was set to Firefox 51.
