
Avira Software Updater is a free application in beta offered by security company Avira to keep your software up to date. Tired of updating third-party applications you install and use on your computer? Outdated apps can pose a serious security risk and might contain vulnerabilities that attackers can exploit, don’t allow that to happen. Leave updating of your apps to Avira’s new Software Updater (ASU).

After installing the app, you can launch it from the start menu or by opening Avira Launcher in the notification area and then by clicking the Software Updater icon.
Note: Software Updater shows advertisements on its interface, and offers other Avira products during the install, which you can skip.
The program does what it says: it monitors programs, it supports for updates, if an outdated app or apps found, alerts you through a notification and allows you to download all the update-required software from with inits interface automatically with a single click. This program currently includes the support for following applications:

Interface: ‘Overview’ shows overall update status of your software. ‘My Software’ shows the applications it monitors under ‘Monitored Software’, and other apps under ‘Unmonitored Software’.
Avira has plans to expand the list of applications included in its Software Updater continually.
