If you plant to reinstall Office again on your computer, keeping them won’t harm you. If you want to delete PST files, take a backup, just in case will be useful for future.

Using a tool that says it’s removing all of Office 2016 and expecting it not to touch other Office installs (why would you do that?) is a grave presumption. User error
VenKat, piracy… lots of folks grab installs from torrents. I myself had 2003, 2007, 2013, and 2016 installed with MS toolkit cracking the activation.
2013 and 2016 legit can both be installed at the same time. I’ve seen it done on campus. I remove 2013 before installing 2016.
It can be done, however it is not considered ‘best practice’ and causes unnecessary complications and issues. Keep one version of office installed and fully remove others for smooth sailing.
