Firefox 40.0.1 Released, what’s new

Mozilla has a habit of releasing a dot release after the regular,  Firefox 40 was released only two days ago, we’ve now Firefox 40.0.1 available with two changes. You can wait for the update to be available or manually install this version on top of the current version installed on your computer.

  • New feature: Enabled API allowing Windows 10 users to open settings dialog.
  • mozalloc.lib was missing from the xulrunner package (1168291) [Fixed]

    But they forget to add mozalloc.lib. Seems like they don’t test things out very well before releasing updates.
