“He’s dead, Jim” is a well known, common bad message in Google Chrome. It exists for very long time, but Google did nothing to eliminate the problem or at least provide instructions what to do. Google does not read customer comments and does not answer. Google does not care about customers. Customers are forced to use under-skilled customer forums to solve problems, instead of help from skilled professionals. Customer forums are “self-dentistry” = painful and under-skilled. There is no hope that Google will change. “Money one way” = this is Google.
This problem has been already fixed in latest stable version. This is the bug https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=467920
If your computer doesn’t let you to complete these steps, then you’ll need to contact the person who has administrator rights to your computer to complete the Chrome update. Still not working?
