Opera 27 has entered the beta stream and is available to download for Windows and Mac (Linux version will be released soon). This beta brings improved navigation and tab menu features. Navigation panel has been improved to work with the dark backgrounds, and the tab menu is enabled by default, not shows a list of tabs unless you open more than 5.
What’s new in Opera 27 beta
1. Tab Menu: You can use Ctrl+M and Command+Option+T shortcuts for that on Windows and Mac. You can see the preference for this enabled in the Settings under ‘User Interface’ as ‘Enable tab Menu’, if you don’t like to see it, just uncheck that checkbox.
2. Improved Navigational panel and looks good even with the darkest background
Other improvements included in this version are:
- Invitation to migrate your Adobe Flash from NPAPI to PPAPI
- Addition of some APIs
- Improvements to the shutdown functionality
- Speech API
