Malwarebytes 1.75 to Malwarebytes 2.0 saw lots of UI changes, users didn’t like the new interface, to please their users Malwarebytes Corporation has started making changes to the UI of upcoming Malwarebytes anti-Malware 2.1, which will release in January 2015. Check the mockup of it below.
Malwarebytes anti-malware 2.1 new UI
What’s new in UI: Banners and Marketing module were removed, as a result, you won’t see the banner ads. Fonts also changed, you’ll discover more when that version release.
“As you can see, we removed all of the aggressive banners and per your suggestion we removed the marketing module from the dashboard.” Malwarebytes founder and CEO Marcin Kleczynski said in a forum post.
How to Retrieve Malwarebytes ID and License key, if lost?
“I’m only showing you the dashboard, but we overhauled the entire scan flow to be simpler as well. Please note that this UI will continue to evolve over the next few versions as we get to everything that’s been requested. Be gentle on us, we’re working as fast as we can! ” He added.
