With Firefox 33, Mozilla has introduced Off Main Threading Compositing (OMTC) feature, which helps in faster loading of pages in the browser. After updating to v33 from 32, some users experienced the black screen, we’ve already covered the fix for that (check the link below), fix involves opening the browser in safe mode and disabling Hardware acceleration, Mozilla has now released Firefox 33.0.1 to address that issue.
