German security vendor Avira has finally made available online essentials. Avira Online Essentials with codenamed My Avira is the new platform that integrates existing or new Avira products and services, it allows user to install them to his multiple devices such as computer, laptop, tablet and Smartphone from his online essentials account.
Currently Online Essentials lets you add its Antivirus, Secure Backup, Anti-Theft and Pilot tool -remote assistance feature which uses LogMeIn Rescue to troubleshoot your friends computer without leaving your place.

To get started, sign up for Avira Online Essentials account that is free and start adding security apps to your devices after verifying your email address.
It has two main components: one is Windows client which lets you install Avira products and two is a dashboard which is connected to the Avira Windows Client and displays information about the services and products of Avira you’ve installed and allows you to manage them.
Avira Online Essentials works on Windows computers and Smartphones (running iOS and Android operating systems), it is currently rolling out in English and German languages and soon will be available in other languages and other countries.
