Unlocker, the tool which lets you delete files or folders that refuses to get deleted by showing error for instance in use by another program or access is denied has finally got an update after an year as 1.9.2 version has been released. This update hasn’t added any significant new features or support for Windows 8 but it has improved the installer for 32-bot and 64-bit machines.
Opting-out of Delta Toolbar during Unlocker Setup
This version includes Delta toolbar in setup which you can opt-out by selecting advanced option and unchecking “install Delta toolbar” option. This version comes with fixes to small memory and behavioral bugs in Unlocker 1.9.1.
One clever use of Unlocker I found is it helps you in fixing “the device ‘Generic volume’ can not be stopped right now “ error.
Unlocker works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
