Recently on 2nd of this month some users experienced 502 errors and latency when accessing Gmail which was confirmed by Google on their Apps status dashboard page. Today Gmail showed 502 error again for users while logging in, what’s going on?. And according to Google App Status Dashboard only small subset of users in India and Middle-east region were affected. And the issue has been resolved. Gmail disruption happened at 12.02 AM and has been resolved at 12:43 AM.
If you encounter 502 error after signing into Gmail what you can do is clear cache or try reloading the page after 30 seconds, other than these you can’t do anything to restore Gmail from your end. Its error on Google servers end its up to Google identify it and fix it.
