3.28 version for CCleaner has been released by Piriform for Windows which improves Windows 8 support and cleaning for other programs also. This is not the news, Piriform said in their blog that 3.28 is last release for version 3 and version 4.0, major one will be released after this.

Though Piriform not revealed new features of CCleaner 4.0, they did said it will be coming with “freshened up graphics, you can expect to see new system monitoring features, as well as a handy file finder tool “. New CCleaner logo which will appear on main window of version 4 has been shown and here it is.

I have been using CCleaner for many years but I am not impressed with it’s perfromance lately. Wise Care 365 is also free and I think that it is a better choice.
